Meet the team

(founder of Muddy Paws)

Dog Walker, Pet sitter and Animal Behaviourist – Falmouth/Truro areas

I have had animals all my life and grew up in a family where we all shared the responsibilities of animal ownership. I have also worked in animal shelters here and abroad, caring for abandoned animals, which was very rewarding and very educational.

I started Muddy Paws in 2012 offering Dog Walking and Pet sitting and then decided to train as an animal behaviourist to ensure that I could provide the animals in my care with the best possible care.

Over the last 5 years the business has grown and I have been joined by some wonderful people, who love animals, and wanted to work with them as much as I did.

Dog Walker and House Sitter – Newquay and surrounding areas

Emily has grown up with dogs and has experience handling many breeds, but as the proud owner of Daisy, is totally Beagle mad!

As a young child in her spare time she loved helping her Mum at the local kennels and walking the neighbour’s dogs.

It was no surprise that when Emily started work she joined a veterinary practice and worked as a Veterinary Receptionist. Her passion is dogs which is what has led her to join us in 2020. We are delighted to have her as part of our pack.

Pet sitter & Dog Walker - Penryn area

Harriot has grown up around working dogs. She loves all dog breeds, but has a special place in her heart for all things hound, two of those being her beloved Bill and Ted who are regularly a part of pack walks, if the space and dogs allow it!

Harriot offers short and long stays in her home. She lives in Penryn and her home backs on to the vast and beautiful woods and lakes that Penryn and Falmouth have to offer. Harriot also loves adventure days and racking up miles around Cornwall on foot. Harriot, and her Beagles, are outgoing and love nothing more than being in the great outdoors.
